Where are your classes located?

Indoor classes are held at North Woodside Community Centre.

Outdoor classes are held in the playground behind Hawthorn Elementary (April through October).

How much does it cost?

Prices vary as they depend on number of regular members. 
Monthly fees cover all classes.
Fees average between $75 and $85/month. Please inquire for current fees.

There is also an option to pay a per class fee of $10 per class, with advance notice.

Do I need any experience to join?

No type of experience is needed.

Do I need a mask for class?

Accepted Answer

No, but you may choose to. Students are told not to attend class if unwell.

Can I join any time?

Yes. 
Everyone gets their first 2 classes for free, and your first month's fees will be prorated from the date of your first paid class.

Do I need to be in good shape to do kung fu?

Accepted Answer

No. 
Kung fu is suited to all body types, fitness levels and abilities. Movements can be adjusted for anyone with mobility restrictions due to old injuries, chronic joint issues etc.

Is this the same club as Five Animal Kung Fu with Sifu Garreth Warren?

Accepted Answer

No, but the teacher and some students are former students of Sifu Warren. We teach the same style and have the same curriculum.
